Our students’ health and wellbeing is an important element of our overall planning and organisation. The Bounce Back Program is a key component to developing social skills and values within our school. Our students are guided through explicit teaching within the classroom and through the assistance of our School Health Nurse we have a balanced approach to delivering up to date information. Our school values of Belong, Respect and Achieve intertwine with the Education Departments values and our students carry out every day interactions with these values in mind.
Together this knowledge and focus on building social capacity and stronger, more resilient communities help to develop more positive and confident students. Ridgley Primary School has zero tolerance for bullying and children actively participate in activities throughout the year. We have organization’s that deliver performances with a specific message on Bullying and it not having any place in our school and/or community.
